Ch. Littlemac Get A Grip at 4mths

I purchased my first Lakie in 1969.  He was Black & Tan and was a very feisty, confident little fellow.

He obtained his Championship in the Show Ring at a young age and we then moved on to Obedience Training where he reached CD (Companion Dog) level - quite an achievement for a Lakie even now. 

For many years now, every Lakeland Terrier we welcome into our home, whether we breed it or not, attends Puppy Preschool and/or formal dog training classes.  We strongly believe in socialising pups as early as possible and also on an ongoing basis.

We have a special connection with New Zealand Lakeland Terrier breeder Lei de Joux and we value her advice and friendship.  We have had several of her lovely 'Gardinaire' Lakies here over the years and she in turn has had 'Littlemac' Lakies to increase the gene pool there.

Of course over the years we have made many friends around the world who breed and show Lakeland Terriers.  We would also like to acknowledge the friendship and advice of Warren Mowles of Sandimorn Lakeland Terriers, Sadie Drysdale of Manesty Lakeland Terriers and also Pat Rock of Hollybriar Lakeland Terriers in U.S.A.

First & foremost our Lakeland Terriers are our passion and our pets.  We keep only a small number of Lakies so that we can give them quality time & attention.  Because of this they lead a very good life and together we participate in many activities:

*  Confirmation Showing

*  Obedience

*  Puppy Preschool

*  Earth Dog Trials

*  Off leish running & playing

*  Swimming

*  Long on leish walks

*  Exploring & hunting on our property

*  Being in the house for cuddles & relaxing

*  Sleeping in the house ....  and sometimes on the bed!
