One thing that we believe sets us apart from some breeders is the time and quality of care we put into our puppies.

We do not breed a litter frequently so when we do, the puppies are very important to us and always get our undivided attention.

The crucial socialisation period for puppies is the first sixteen weeks of their life!

Naturally until the pups are 8 weeks old they are restricted to our property (for immunisation reasons) however during this time they are exposed to a wide range of interactions and situations.

As you will see in the pictures in our photo album, they have the chance of interacting with our other Lakies and also with our 45kg Dobermann, so they get used to big and bigger dogs.

Our pups are well on the way to being toilet trained by the time they go to their new homes.  Very young pups are inside our home for most of the time but when they are 4-5 weeks old they get to play outside everyday and come inside with us every evening.  They get used to all the noises that occur in the home and especially the kitchen and they have a plentiful array of toys, fresh bones and chews to entertain them.

At approx. 7 weeks of age they are moved into what we call our 'puppy palace' as the next step in gaining more confidence and getting used to the big world.  This is their own air conditioned cedar house complete with its own fully fenced & sheltered grassy exercise yard so they can run up a ramp if they want to snooze inside or run down the ramp to play or toilet on the grass.  Of course they still come inside with us of an evening - we love our cuddles and family time.

No expense is spared to ensure they have the very best start in life so that they grown up confident, outgoing, healthy.  Our pups are very well handled and get lots of stimulation so they are well socialised by the time they go to their new homes from approx. 10weeks of age onwards.

We put a lot of time and effort into our pups and feed them top quality food including premium dry food and also a raw, all natural diet.

All puppies sold come with:

* A comprehensive information booklet

*  Pedigree Papers (Limited Register)

*  Depending on age, their first or second immunisations

*  Wormed at least 3 times

*  First puppy grooming clip (optional)

It is all these little things that really make a difference when our puppies go to their new homes!

On rare occasions we may have available older puppies.  These puppies have usually attended puppy preschool and have been exposed to additional socialisation.  They will be sold at the normal puppy price but will come desexed and have all their current immunisations.     As these puppies are very few and far between, we recommend you put your name down on our waiting list for them.

After your initial email enquiry, all genuine puppy enquiries are to be made by telephone as NO puppy will be sold via the internet or by email request.

We do not believe that a puppy should be purchased 'sight unseen'.
